Pressure vessel conveying

Requirement

Sensitive primary products have to be conveyed gently over a long distance in a chemical plant.

The solution

  • Since pressure transmitters convey at low speed, they are particularly suitable for gentle transport over long distances.
  • At the central feeding point, the pressure transmitter vessels are filled and conveyed to the receiving points as required.
  • The distribution to the individual lines is done by 2-way switches.

Requirement

The refilling of several dosing containers with highly dusty and very fine metal oxides.

The solution

  • A vacuum suction conveyor with 7µm stainless steel sintered metal filter.
  • A conveying capacity of 80 kg/h with a conveying distance of about 25 m.
  • Distribution to 2 dosing points by means of a pipe diverter.

Requirement

In the production of cables, plastic granulates have to be transported in different quantities over long distances to different extruders.

The solution

  • Depending on the requirements, the individual granulates are dosed by their weight.
  • The feed into the delivery line takes place via a blow-through valve.
  • The conveying air is cooled beforehand to prevent strand formation and angel hair.

Requirement

Power plants produce a lot of fine coal dust, which is highly combustible and must therefore be removed regularly.

The solution

  • A pipe network several hundred metres long, and fitted with several suction points with self-closing valves, was laid in the power plant.
  • Hoses with vacuum cleaners can be connected to the pipe network at 2-3 different points at the same time.
  • The dust is collected in a receiving container with filter and enters a humidifying mixer via a flap sluice.
  • The moistened dust is fed into the incinerator.

Requirement

In power plants, a lot of dust accumulates in places that are far apart. What is needed is a solution that allows for easy cleaning of these areas.

The solution

  • Mobile vacuum cleaners are taken to collection points for suction lines and connected there. They only need a power connection and then work completely self-sufficiently
  • They are pulled to docking points for emptying. There, the collected dust is discharged, mixed with water and added to the fresh coal as earth-moist material.
